Lynn Parman has worked with 70+ animal health companies over the last three years as the "go-to" person on animal health company recruitment at KCADC.  With the presence of 32% of the global animal health market, KC is the epicenter for the animal health industry.

In the course of 14 years in local and regional economic development, Lynn has spearheaded efforts to attract and expand such animal health companies as Synbiotics Corporation, Boehringer Ingelheim Vetmedical, TEVA Animal Health, IdentiGEN, MWI Veterinary Supply, Fort Dodge Animal Health, U.S. Animal Health Association, IMULAN BioTherapeutics and was part of the team that recruited the National Bio and Agro-Defense facility to Manhattan, KS.

North American Veterinary Conference

NAVC will be held January 16-20, 2010 in Orlando, Florida. Over 9,500 veterinarians and technicians from the east coast will be present along with 3,000 animal health companies from across the country, which are exhibiting at the conference including several KC animal health companies. www.tnavc.org

Western Veterinary Conference

WVC will be held February 14-16, 2010 in Las Vegas. Over 11,000 veterinarians and technicians from the west coast will be present along with 3,000 animal health companies from across the country that is exhibiting at the conference.  Many KC animal health companies are exhibiting as well.  www.wvc.org

Kansas City Area Life Sciences Institute Annual Dinner

The Kansas City Area Life Institute's Annual Dinner will be held April 21, 2010 and provides over 700 legislators, business community leaders and scientists with an update on the progress on Kansas City's Life Sciences initiative.  www.kclifesciencesday.org

Central Veterinary Conference

CVC is held in KC on August 28-31, 2010.  Because the conference is in our area, KCADC will host an exclusive event for the animal health companies at the event.  www.thecvc.com
